Metal-oxide surge arrester introduction:
Metal-oxide surge arrester is one of the most advanced protectors limiting overvoltage, and is the basis of the insulation coordination equipment in power industry.Metal-oxide surge arrester has many advantages such as quick action, flat Vol-ampere characteristics, low residual voltage, high discharge current capacity, stable electrical performance,long lifecycle,simple structure and etc.Metal-oxide surge arrester is widely used in power generation, transformation and distribution system to prevent the insulation of the power equipments from being damaged by the over-voltage.

Normal service conditions of metal-oxide surge arrester:
1.For indoors and outdoors;
2.Ambient air temperature within the range of-40℃~+40℃;
3.Altitude not exceeding 2600m;
4.Frequency for A.C.power supply not less than 48Hz and not exceeding 62HZ;
5.Power Frequency voltage applied continuously between the terminals of the arrester not exceeding its continuous operating voltage;
6.Earthquake intensity:8 degree and below;
10.Maximal wind velocity not exceeding 35m/s. Please indicate in the contract,at exceptionally movement condition.
